India’s Quick Commerce Platforms Near 9.5 Million Orders a Day in August
India’s six major quick commerce platforms are handling around 9.5 million orders daily in August, led by Blinkit, Zepto and Swiggy Instamart.
India’s fast commerce market is on a rapid growth path, with the country’s six large platforms now clocking around 9.5 million orders a day in August, according to data from Datum Intelligence and industry sources.
“If this rate continues, platforms could process between 286 million and 314 million orders in a 30-day period, illustrating the fast-growing category.”

Blinkit Leads, Zepto Closes In:
Blinkit remains the largest player with an estimated 3.4 million-3.6 million orders a day and a 36.7% share of the combined market.
Next is Zepto with 2.4 million-2.6 million daily orders and a 26.2% share. Swiggy Instamart (14.4%) with an estimated daily order volume of between 1.3 mn and 1.45 mn.
The three platforms together represent about 77% of daily order volumes among the six major players.
Newer and growing platforms are challenging the rest of the market more and more. Flipkart Minutes crossed one million orders per day, which means it has 10% share. Amazon Now is estimated to process between 600,000 and 700,000 orders a day, while BigBasket is said to handle about 500,000 to 600,000.

Quick Commerce Volumes Surge:
The latest numbers represent a big jump from March 2025, when Blinkit, Zepto and Swiggy Instamart were estimated to process a combined 4.15 million-4.45 million orders a day.
At the time, the five biggest platforms were processing about 4.8 million orders daily. Daily volumes on the leading platforms have risen substantially in just over a year, according to the latest estimates.
The competitive landscape has also changed with Zepto overtaking Swiggy Instamart in daily orders, according to industry data. Flipkart Minutes and Amazon Now have also emerged as significant participants in the category.
Quick commerce companies are also broadening the range of products available to consumers. Alongside groceries and daily essentials, Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, Flipkart Minutes and Amazon Now are expanding into premium and gourmet categories.
These include imported foods, premium meats and speciality beverages, as platforms seek to increase transaction values alongside order frequency.
Average order values vary significantly across leading players, reflecting differences in their business economics. Blinkit reported an AOV of ₹518 in the June quarter, compared with ₹691 for Swiggy Instamart. Zepto’s AOV has been estimated at around ₹300-₹350.
