Karan Sehgal Moves From ITC to Lead Sales at Voltas
Voltas appoints Karan Sehgal as Head – Sales (Designate), UPBG, bringing 16 years of ITC experience to its consumer products business.

Tata Enterprise, Voltas Limited has appointed Karan Sehgal as Head – Sales (Designate), Unitary Products Business Group (UPBG). Sehgal joined Voltas on August 3, 2026 and will take over responsibility for the Sales function of the Unitary Products Business from October 1, 2026.
Sehgal will now lead sales across Voltas’ Unitary Products portfolio which includes Room Air Conditioners, Voltas Beko consumer appliances, Home Comfort Products and Commercial Refrigeration.
His remit will be to accelerate business growth, strengthen distribution and channel partnerships, extend market reach, improve sales effectiveness and drive execution across markets.

Sehgal Brings 16 Years of ITC Experience:
Sehgal joins Voltas from ITC Limited, where he has spent 16 years in leadership positions across sales, marketing development, category development, distribution and channel management.
During his tenure at ITC, he has been exposed to consumer businesses and categories like Foods, Personal Care, Home Care and Tobacco. His exposure includes General Trade, Modern Trade, Institutional Business and HORECA.
Sehgal has a management degree from the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi.
“Voltas has a strong brand equity, a large market position and a wide presence across India, said Sehgal in a statement. “I am looking forward to contributing to the next phase of growth across the company’s diverse portfolio,” he added.

Leadership Transition at Voltas:
Sehgal’s appointment comes at a time of major changes in India’s consumer durables market, with rising consumer aspirations, premiumisation, growing adoption of energy efficient and technology led products and evolving retail and distribution dynamics.
The appointment is also in line with the planned leadership transition in the Unitary Products Business of Voltas. In the transition period, Sehgal will work with Jogesh Jaitly, presently Head – Sales, UPBG.
Jaitly is due to retire on superannuation on 31 March 2027.
Sehgal’s appointment is expected to complement Voltas’ focus on fortifying its sales & distribution network and drive growth across its Unitary Products portfolio.
