PharmEasy Launches ‘You Think It’s Viral’ Fever Campaign
PharmEasy has launched its ‘You Think It’s Viral’ campaign to encourage early fever testing and doctor consultation during the monsoon, highlighting the risks of self-medication.
PharmEasy has launched a new health awareness campaign ‘You Think It’s Viral’ urging people to avoid self-diagnosis, seek timely medical consultation and diagnostic testing for fever during the monsoon season.
The campaign is based on the insight that many people disregard fever as “just viral” and resort to home remedies or self-medication, often delaying proper diagnosis. PharmEasy said, one in three fever cases could be due to diseases like dengue, malaria, chikungunya or typhoid and not a routine viral infection. The findings were based on its Fever Package testing data between 2023 and 2025.
Delays in testing and treatment can increase the risk of serious complications associated with bacterial and vector-borne diseases, especially during the monsoon when cases of fever usually rise, the company said.

Monsoon Awareness:
PharmEasy will run a campaign on social media on fever prevention, vaccination, early diagnosis and treatment over the coming months. The programme will have educational material on monsoon diseases, do’s and don’ts related to fever and the importance of timely diagnostic testing.
The campaign will make reliable health information more accessible by bringing expert insights from doctors, nutrition specialists, influencers and user-generated content creators. PharmEasy is looking to prompt people to identify symptoms early and consult doctors instead of making assumptions, through relatable monsoon scenarios and creator-led storytelling.
Apart from awareness campaigns, the campaign also recommends practical home care measures such as drinking plenty of fluids, taking adequate rest, monitoring vital health parameters and eating light and easily digestible food during the course of recovery.
