Nagpal Brings Global Experience:
Nagpal steps into the role with over three decades of experience in scaling global services organisations and leading enterprise transformation. Most recently, he served as managing director at OpenText India and vice president, professional services, where he focused on expanding the company’s footprint and strengthening customer success functions. His earlier leadership stints include roles at GXS, GE and Xerox.
Speaking on his appointment, Nagpal said he is joining Adobe at a time when enterprises are actively looking to adopt AI driven solutions for measurable outcomes. “I am excited to join Adobe at a time when enterprises are increasingly looking to adopt AI led services to drive meaningful business outcomes. I look forward to working with teams across regions to enhance customer impact and scale innovation from India,” he said.
India Push Gains Momentum:
The appointment comes as global technology firms continue to deepen investments in India, not just as a talent base but as a strategic center for innovation, delivery, and product development. For brands and enterprises, this signals faster deployment cycles, more localized expertise, and stronger support for digital transformation journeys. For the broader tech ecosystem, it reinforces India’s position as a critical node in global delivery networks.
Adobe has also recently strengthened its India leadership bench with the appointment of Shamik Basu to lead its Creative Products Group engineering and product management teams in the country, indicating a broader push to scale both product and services capabilities from the region.
As AI adoption accelerates across industries, leadership roles like Nagpal’s will be central to translating technology investments into tangible business outcomes, particularly in areas like customer experience, personalization, and enterprise efficiency.
