Pee Safe Launches #PlayInComfort Campaign With Smriti Mandhana On Menstrual Hygiene Day
Pee Safe has launched the #PlayInComfort campaign with Smriti Mandhana to encourage girls to continue participating in sports during menstruation.
Pee Safe has launched a new campaign, #PlayInComfort with Smriti Mandhana to encourage young girls to continue to play sports during their periods.
The campaign, launched on Menstrual Hygiene Day, aims to break down barriers that often prevent adolescent girls from participating in sports and physical activities during periods.
Menstrual discomfort, fear of leakage, lack of awareness and limited access to menstrual hygiene products continue to affect girls’ participation in sports, the company said.

Menstrual Health Awareness:
The initiative is aimed at normalising conversations around menstruation in sporting spaces and fostering confidence and comfort among young girls.
Mandhana has partnered with the brand for the campaign to spread awareness about menstrual hygiene and the need for accessible hygiene solutions for girls involved in sports and outdoor activities.

Commenting on the initiative, Vikas Bagaria said many girls gradually move away from sports after they begin menstruating because of social stigma, discomfort and lack of awareness.
“Many young girls slowly start drifting away from sports once they begin menstruating, not because they lack talent or ambition, but because periods are still surrounded by silence, discomfort, and weak awareness,” Bagaria said.
“With #PlayInComfort, we want to encourage girls to keep chasing the sports they love with confidence as well as comfort,” he added.
Pee Safe has also conducted over 370 awareness and hygiene sessions in over 90 cities in India, Bagaria said, as part of its larger efforts to improve conversations and awareness around menstrual health.
