Aditya Birla Fashion Reports 15.7% Revenue Growth Despite FY26 Losses
ABFRL narrowed Q4 FY26 losses while reporting strong revenue growth led by Pantaloons, ecommerce and ethnic wear businesses.
Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited reported improvement in consolidated net losses for the fourth quarter of FY26 aided by healthy revenue growth in key business segments like Pantaloons, ethnic wear and e-commerce business.
The company posted a consolidated net loss of ₹163.81 crore in Q4 FY26, against a loss of ₹170.64 crore in the same quarter last year, CNBC TV18 reported.
For the full financial year, however, ABFRL’s consolidated losses widened sharply to ₹829.89 crore, up 82 per cent from ₹455.82 crore reported in FY25.
The retailer saw healthy revenue growth in the quarter, despite profitability pressures.

Strong Revenue Growth:
Revenue from operations increased 15.7 per cent year-on-year to ₹1,990.13 crore in Q4 FY26 against ₹1,719.48 crore in the year-ago quarter.
Company’s total operating revenue for FY26 was ₹8,176.92 crore.
ABFRL’s value fashion business Pantaloons was one of the strongest contributors to growth during the quarter.
Pantaloons reported an 18.5 per cent YoY rise in revenue to ₹1,048.26 crore in Q4 FY26. Its annual revenue from operations stood at ₹4,560.49 crore.
The company’s ethnic and other businesses segment also grew with quarterly revenue increasing to ₹950.21 crore from ₹846.99 crore a year ago.
The company reported that EBITDA for the quarter was ₹311 crore, up 57 percent over FY25 levels.

Ecommerce Growth Push:
ABFRL also said its e-commerce business grew over 30% year-on-year, aided by better omni-channel integration and faster fulfilment capabilities.
The retailer grew its physical store presence by adding more than 180 gross stores in FY26, with around 120 stores added in the second half of the financial year.
ABFRL had recently increased its stake in its subsidiary Indivinity Clothing Retail Private Limited to 89.29 per cent from 85.54 per cent through a rights issue.
The subsidiary operates Tasva, ABFRL’s men’s ethnic occasion wear business, which reported 33 percent year-on-year sales growth during the quarter.
The company attributed Tasva’s performance to strong double-digit like-to-like growth and network expansion.
ABFRL additionally announced a series of senior leadership appointments earlier this year.
