AB InBev India Elevates Bratin Roy As Vice President Of Corporate Affairs
AB InBev India has promoted Bratin Roy as Vice President of Corporate Affairs to lead corporate communications, public policy and reputation management functions.
AB InBev India has promoted Bratin Roy as Vice President, Corporate Affairs, furthering his leadership in corporate communications, reputation management and public policy strategy for the company in India.
Roy will continue to run from the company’s Bengaluru headquarters.
Roy joined the organisation in 2017 as Associate Director of Communications, and has held several leadership roles within the organisation since. Prior to the elevation, he was Director, Corporate Affairs, AB InBev India.

Corporate Affairs Leadership:
Roy has been handling communications, reputation management and regulatory engagement responsibilities across the South Asian market for almost a decade, the company said.
He was Head of Reputation and Communications from 2021 to 2023, then took on director-level responsibilities within the corporate affairs function.
Before joining AB InBev India, Roy held senior positions in communications and media relations with a number of large Indian companies and public relations agencies.
He has earlier handled leadership positions in corporate and media communications with Raymond Group and communications projects with Reliance Communications, Hanmer MSL and Adfactors PR.
Regulatory Strategy Focus:
Roy’s expanded role will focus on strengthening AB InBev India’s sustainable growth strategy, while managing the evolving regulatory and public policy environment for the beverage industry, the company said.
He will also work on driving initiatives for strategic stakeholder engagement and corporate alignment across South Asia, the company said.
The appointment highlights the growing significance of integrated corporate affairs leadership across highly regulated sectors as companies continue to elevate public policy engagement; corporate reputation and sustainability positioning.
The elevation also highlights how organisations are spending more on senior corporate affairs leadership to deal with the changing regulatory landscape, stakeholder expectations and reputation management issues for the communications and beverage industries.
