Food delivery giant Swiggy made a triumphant entry into the stock market on November 13th. To commemorate this milestone, the company released a heartwarming ad film that traces its journey from humble beginnings to becoming a household name.

The ad film, created in-house, cleverly connects the ringing of doorbells by Swiggy's delivery executives to the ceremonial bell ringing at the National Stock Exchange (NSE). The voiceover emphasizes the company's growth and impact, highlighting its various services including food delivery, grocery delivery, restaurant reservations, and quick commerce.

At the NSE listing ceremony, Swiggy's co-founders, Sriharsha Majety and Nandan Reddy, along with key team members and delivery partners, participated in the ceremonial bell-ringing. This symbolic gesture marked the beginning of a new chapter for Swiggy as a publicly-traded company.

Swiggy's shares were listed at a premium on both the NSE and BSE, reflecting strong investor confidence in the company's future. The IPO also significantly boosted the wealth of nearly 500 Swiggy employees who held ESOPs.
