According to the companies, the collaboration aims to create a distinct on-air visual identity that combines individuality, comfort and contemporary menswear aesthetics for one of India’s most-watched live sporting broadcasts.
Commenting on the association, Sairam Krishnamurthy said cricket today extends beyond the game itself and increasingly intersects with culture, entertainment and personality.
“JioStar has built an incredibly engaging cricket viewing experience, and we saw this as an opportunity to contribute to that broader storytelling ecosystem through style,” Krishnamurthy said.
He added that the styling direction focused on creating looks that felt effortless, authentic and reflective of the personalities appearing on screen.
The collaboration marks another step in Bombay Shirt Company’s growing presence within India’s entertainment and cultural ecosystem while reinforcing its positioning as a modern menswear brand centred around tailored and personalised fashion.
According to the company, the styling approach focused on lightweight summer fabrics and versatile silhouettes suited to live broadcast environments.

Broadcasts Get Style Upgrade:
The partnership also reflects JioStar’s broader strategy of enhancing audience experience beyond the sport itself through presentation, storytelling and personality-driven content.
Speaking about the collaboration, Siddharth Sharma said styling plays an important role in shaping viewer perception and engagement.
“Styling adds sharpness, credibility, and personality, making the viewing experience more engaging,” Sharma said.
He added that JioStar wanted its on-air presenters to reflect the premium energy associated with the summer cricket season, making Bombay Shirt Company a natural partner at the intersection of sports and culture.
To execute the collaboration, the BSC team reportedly worked closely with broadcast talent to understand individual preferences, personalities and screen presence before curating each look.
According to the companies, viewers can expect a more immersive and visually refined broadcast experience as the season progresses, with style and storytelling becoming a larger part of the overall sports presentation.
