Indian Craft Brewery’s launch with creative campaigns by 82.5 Communications. A blend of tradition, innovation, and unique flavors awaits Bangalore’s beer enthusiasts.
Bangalore’s vibrant beer scene is set to welcome an exciting new player, Indian Craft Brewery (ICB), with its launch slated for December 14, 2024. Located in the bustling Manyata Tech Park, Nagavara, this 1,500-seater microbrewery is all about blending India’s ancient brewing traditions with modern innovation. The brewery has appointed 82.5 Communications, part of the Ogilvy Group, to manage its launch campaign across digital platforms, radio, and Out-Of-Home (OOH).
ICB takes inspiration from India’s culinary diversity and rich heritage, offering a unique beer experience like no other. A highlight of its offerings will be the premium non-alcoholic beer range, Ramanujan, a tribute to India’s legendary mathematician. With recipes rooted in indigenous ingredients and brewing techniques, ICB’s vision is to reinvent craft beer by reconnecting it with India’s cultural essence.
Co-founder Gopi Chand Cherukuri expressed his excitement, saying, “Indian Craft Brewery aims to redefine the craft beer experience by drawing from our country’s rich history and culinary traditions. 82.5 Communications has captured our ambition beautifully, and together, we’re introducing a microbrewery experience unlike any in Bengaluru.”
The brewery has gone the extra mile by establishing an R&D center in Belgium, where a team led by master brewer Antonio Rodriguez-Giralt experiments with innovative flavors and techniques. This dedication to research ensures that every ICB brew tells a story, celebrating both the past and future of brewing.
The campaign created by 82.5 Communications is live on social media and reflects the brewery’s innovative spirit. The agency’s CEO, Kiran Ramamurthy, praised ICB’s vision, saying, “The ICB team’s deep research and commitment to blending heritage with modern craft is extraordinary. From their world-class brewmasters to chefs with backgrounds in iconic Indian restaurants, they are rewriting Bangalore’s beer legacy.”
Executive Vice President Naveen Raman shared his admiration for ICB’s bold approach, highlighting their journey to revive ancient brewing traditions from the Indus Valley Civilization and tribal communities. “They’re not just brewing beer; they’re brewing stories worth sharing with the world,” he said, emphasizing how ICB’s collaboration with a master brewer from Costa Rica further sets them apart.
As the countdown begins for its grand opening, Indian Craft Brewery is gearing up to offer Bangaloreans a fresh take on the microbrewery experience, combining cutting-edge innovation with India’s cultural roots. With 82.5 Communications at the creative helm, this launch is sure to be a game-changer for Bangalore’s beer scene.
