Godrej's #PerfectforMomRecipes campaign honors the spirit of working mothers
A mother constantly experiences "working mom guilt" and pressure for balancing motherhood and career goals. It is critical to take a moment to acknowledge and thank all the devout mothers out there who balance employment and children on a daily basis. The Godrej Group celebrates Mother's Day in an unexpected way with #PerfectforMomRecipes in an effort to update society's out-of-date views and notions about working mothers and appreciate the spirit of motherhood.
The #PerfectforMomRecipes campaign, which was conceptualized and carried out by The Godrej Group's Corporate Brand and Communications team and Creativeland Asia, is a tribute to all working mothers. It features unorthodox recipes that aim to dispel prejudices and stereotypes about working mothers while also inspiring them to feel sympathetic toward themselves. Celebrity chefs Amrita Raichand, Sanjyot Keer, and Vicky Ratnani will be featured in the #PerfectforMomRecipes campaign as they create meals with unusual names like "Tasty Society Expectations Mango Shake," "Guilty Moms Dora Cake," and "Lajawab Overworked Mom's Butter Chicken."
The #PerfectforMomRecipes campaign aims to challenge preconceived notions about working mothers and show them support and love by assisting them in overcoming expectations from others, dealing with unsolicited advice, emphasizing the value of self-love and self-care, and empowering them to define their own definition of motherhood.
Tanya Dubash, Executive Director and Chief Brand Officer of the Godrej Group, commented on the unique approach, saying, "At The Godrej Group, we have always sought to make the work environment supportive for our workers, many of whom are working mothers. In an effort to expose the traditional biases that these working mothers see on a daily basis and give them the power to define their own definition of motherhood, we created the campaign #PerfectforMomRecipes. We dedicate this campaign to the foundation of our families, our mothers, as well as to other working mothers who are making an enormous effort to overcome gender preconceptions and carve out a unique niche for themselves.
