In a bold step toward normalizing conversations about sexual wellness in India, Peppy, a new direct-to-consumer (D2C) brand, has officially launched. The brand, co-founded by entrepreneurs Devansh Agarwal and Shyamal Gupta, along with actor and content creator Bhuvan Bam, aims to make sexual wellness products affordable, accessible, and a natural part of daily life.

Launched in 2023, Peppy focuses on creating body-safe, user-friendly designs catering to diverse needs across ages, genders, and backgrounds. After remaining bootstrapped initially, Peppy raised $500,000 in its pre-seed round in May 2024. The round included notable investors such as Bhuvan Bam, Rohit Raj, and Ruchi Gupta. Currently valued at Rs 50 crore, the company is now gearing up for a seed round of $1–2 million to expand its sales channels and market reach.

Bhuvan Bam, now a co-founder and investor, expressed his enthusiasm for the brand's mission.
"Peppy represents an opportunity to challenge societal taboos around sexual intimacy and empower individuals to embrace their personal needs without hesitation. By creating spaces for open and honest conversations, we aim to redefine how India approaches sexual wellness," Bhuvan said.

Peppy’s founders, Devansh and Shyamal, emphasized the importance of addressing intimate wellness openly.
"A fulfilling sex life is integral to overall happiness and well-being, yet it remains a topic brushed under the rug in India. Peppy is here to change that. From premium quality to guilt-free access, we’re on a mission to make sexual wellness products as common as skincare or snacks," they said.

The brand has partnered with Rohit Raj, founder and CEO of BBKV Productions, who is also an investor. Rohit highlighted his commitment to breaking barriers and creating a healthier approach to intimacy.
"Peppy’s mission to encourage informed conversations about sexual wellness aligns with my values. I’m excited to contribute to building a more inclusive perspective on sexual well-being in India," he shared.
