Zomato Launches Festive Campaign Featuring Sunil Grover's Comedic Talent

Zomato has unveiled its latest Diwali campaign featuring actor and comedian Sunil Grover in two light-hearted ads, perfectly timed for the festive season. The campaign promotes Zomato’s newly introduced ‘large order fleet’ service, offering exclusive festive deals designed to handle bulk food orders for gatherings and events.

The first ad showcases the extensive menu options available on Zomato. It begins with a boy next to Grover, scrolling through the Zomato app and saying, “Zomato jaisi variety kisi mein nahi hai” (No one has more variety than Zomato). Grover, known for his roles on The Kapil Sharma Show, humorously takes offense, leading him to spring into action.

Using his comic genius, Grover transforms into multiple personas in quick succession. He first appears as a glamorous woman in a vibrant red and gold outfit, then as an elderly man in a dark suit with a vintage cap, and finally as a flashy celebrity in a multicolored fur jacket, entertaining the audience as he parodies the concept of “variety.” The film concludes with a twist as Grover, dressed as a Zomato delivery partner, delivers the order with a cheeky flying kiss.

The second ad features Grover hosting a grand Diwali party at his home. A Zomato delivery boy, excited to meet stars, receives a warm “Happy Diwali” from Grover. The real surprise comes when the delivery boy sneaks a look inside, only to find every guest is a version of Sunil Grover in disguise, creating the whimsical ‘Sunilverse’.

Launched in April 2024, Zomato's large order fleet service caters to gatherings of up to 50 people. Promotions like “Buy 5 Get 5 Free” and “Flat 20% Off” encourage users to take advantage of the service during the festive season. Sunil Grover’s comedic versatility makes him the perfect fit for a campaign centered around variety
