Ranveer Singh's Bold Care Launches Women’s Wellness Brand 'Bloom' to Empower Women's Health

Actor Ranveer Singh-backed sexual wellness startup Bold Care is expanding its horizons into the women’s health and wellness sector with the launch of a new brand, Bloom. This strategic move aims to address various health issues that women face throughout different life stages, providing a comprehensive range of products tailored to their needs.

According to the company, Bloom will focus on solutions related to sexual health, hygiene, and period care, emphasizing the importance of wellness at all phases of a woman’s life. Ranveer Singh, who was appointed as Bold Care’s co-founder last year, expressed his commitment to innovation in this field. He stated, “I and the founding team strongly believe in the RCM (research backed, clinically tested, maximum efficacy) methodology to provide end-to-end wellness solutions for root cause concerns women face and are excited to innovate for all phases of women’s wellness.”

Founded in 2020 by Jadhav, Rahul Krishnan, Harsh Singh, and Mohit Yadav, Bold Care originally positioned itself as a D2C men’s health and wellness startup. Its product lineup includes items such as condoms, lubes, chewables, and gummies, along with supplements aimed at boosting hair growth, immunity, and sleep. Singh's venture into startups is not limited to Bold Care; he also made headlines earlier this year by investing in boAt, a brand known for audio products and smartwatches. Additionally, he supported SUGAR Cosmetics in 2022, showcasing his commitment to the health and wellness industry.

The launch of Bloom is particularly timely, coinciding with the rapid growth of the Indian smart wearables market, which includes health and wellness devices. According to a report by Allied Market Research, this market is projected to register a CAGR of 23.91% over the forecast period from 2022 to 2027. As consumer awareness regarding health and wellness continues to rise, startups like Bloom are well-positioned to capture a share of this burgeoning market.

Bold Care's expansion into women’s wellness reflects a broader trend in the industry, where more celebrities are entering the wellness space. For instance, PV Sindhu has backed Hoop, a D2C consumer health startup, and Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently invested in Secret Alchemist, an aromatherapy-based wellness brand. These developments underscore the growing interest among public figures in promoting health and wellness products.

The initiative by Bold Care and the establishment of Bloom signal a significant shift towards inclusive health solutions, aiming to empower women to take charge of their health and well-being. By offering clinically tested and research-backed products, Bloom aims to resonate with modern consumers who prioritize quality and efficacy in health solutions.
