VML has partnered with Durex to launch the "Rainbow Classrooms" campaign, aimed at fostering discussions on gender identity in Indian schools. This initiative addresses the gap in sex education and creates a supportive environment for students.

"VML's approach aims to create a safe space for students in India to express their feelings and address gender identity issues that are often overlooked due to the lack of sex education in Indian schools," stated a release.

To achieve this, VML and Durex collaborated with students, teachers, school body heads, and government officials to develop a course that educates educators on handling these sensitive conversations. Classrooms with trained teachers display a rainbow door, inspired by the Pride Flag, indicating a safe space for students to express themselves without fear of judgment.

Rohan Kumar, Group Creative Director at VML India, said, "The first step to getting students to talk about gender issues was to create a safe space. The rainbow doors serve as powerful symbols of safety and inclusivity."

Ravi Bhatnagar, Director of External Affairs & Partnerships at Reckitt, emphasized Reckitt's dedication to inclusivity, stating, "The Rainbow Classrooms initiative is a testament to our ongoing efforts to create safe and supportive environments for students, not just during Pride Month but throughout the entire year."
