Zee TV’s Show Celebrates Women Balancing Work, Home, and Dreams
Zee TV’s Bas Itna Sa Khwaab celebrates women balancing work and family through Mumbai train branding and relatable stories led by Rajashree Thakur

Zee TV’s new show, Bas Itna Sa Khwaab, shines a light on the challenges women face in balancing their professional and personal lives. As part of its innovative promotional campaign, Zee TV has become the first Hindi general entertainment channel to brand visuals from the show on Mumbai AC local trains and the Delhi metro.
In a heartfelt gesture, lead actor Rajashree Thakur, who plays Avani Trivedi, traveled on a branded Mumbai local train, interacting with commuters, sharing stories, and playing Antakshari.
Speaking about the initiative, Mangesh Kulkarni, Chief Channel Officer of Zee TV, said, “At Zee TV, we aim to create meaningful connections with our audience by integrating our narratives into their daily lives. Through this initiative, we wanted our show’s protagonist, Avani, to meet the countless Avanis of Mumbai—women whose strength and resilienceshine as they balance their work and home responsibilities without receiving the acknowledgment they deserve. This campaign is a celebration of their journey and a reflection of their lives through the story of Bas Itna Sa Khwaab.”
Rajashree Thakur reflected on her experience, saying, “Playing Avani has been a privilege. Meeting women on the train who live similar lives was incredibly humbling. Their stories of juggling long commutes, demanding jobs, and family responsibilities are truly inspiring. I hope my portrayal encourages women to dream big while finding their balance.”
