ZEE Kicks Off Agency Premier League T20 for ILT20 Season 3
ZEE launches Agency Premier League T20, uniting media professionals and cricket enthusiasts to celebrate ILT20 Season 3. A cricket carnival awaits on Zee5 and 15 channels!
ZEE Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL) is all set to excite cricket and media enthusiasts with its first-ever Agency Premier League T20, a unique initiative designed to promote the upcoming DP World International League T20 (ILT20) Season 3. The tournament will tour Bengaluru, Delhi, and Mumbai, fostering engagement with top media agencies across India.
The Bengaluru leg, scheduled to start on 16th December, will be graced by the popular Kannada actor, director, and TV host Ramesh Aravind, who is best known for his talk show Weekend with Ramesh on Zee5. His presence promises an exciting start to this thrilling cricket extravaganza. The tournament will then move to Delhi on 18th December and conclude in Mumbai on 20th December.
A host of prominent media agencies will participate in the league. Bengaluru will witness teams from GroupM, Dentsu, Havas Media, Initiative, and Madison battling it out. Delhi will feature spirited participation from OMD, Havas, IPG, GroupM, Publicis, and Dentsu, while the Mumbai leg will see Wavemaker, Starcom, Madison World, DBB Mudra Max, Essence Mediacom, and Mindshare Fulcrum in action.
Ashish Sehgal, chief growth officer - digital and broadcast revenue, ZEEL, emphasized the unique concept behind the league. He stated, “Cricket unites India, and this league brings the excitement of ILT20 closer to the media fraternity. We aim to create an innovative and immersive experience that resonates with cricket fans across the globe.”
The third edition of ILT20 is set to kick off on 11th January 2025, running until 9th February 2025, promising a month-long cricket carnival for fans. ZEE Entertainment will broadcast the tournament across 15 linear TV channels, including popular ones like Zee Cinema HD, Zee Tamil HD, &Flix HD, and many more. Additionally, fans can catch all the action live on Zee5, one of India’s leading OTT platforms.
The previous season of ILT20 reached 221 million viewers, and ZEEL is now targeting an ambitious 230 million viewership by expanding to South Indian channels and offering greater accessibility. The league boasts a 46% female viewership and a 55% youth viewership, demonstrating its massive popularity across demographics.
