The Salt Inc., a newcomer in the content and design industry, has officially launched with the mission to create strategically tailored content that fosters meaningful interactions between consumers and brands.
Departing from the conventional agency model, The Salt Inc. offers a wide range of content formats, from digital media to OTT content. Its unique partnership with the British media giant The Economist in India allows it to help partner brands engage with C-suite executives globally.
Founded by seasoned professionals in advertising, media marketing, and video production, The Salt Inc. reimagines the traditional agency model.
CEO and Founder Neena Dasgupta brings nearly 25 years of experience in digital media and advertising, having worked with notable companies like BBC and ABNI (part of Dow Jones). She later founded Zirca Digital Solutions, a global digital solutions company managing prestigious clients in both Indian and international markets. Neena has been featured on Impact’s 50 Most Influential list for three consecutive years.
Co-Founder Sarthak Dasgupta is an acclaimed writer, director, producer, and storyteller, recognized as an alumnus of the Sundance Screenwriters Lab and a recipient of the Mahindra Sundance Global Filmmaker Award. Sarthak has consistently created culturally diverse and impactful stories across films, web series, documentaries, and television.
Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer Parth Arora, with 25 years of experience, has successfully delivered award-winning projects in the film and OTT space, collaborating with platforms like Netflix. He has also worked with major film studios such as Dharma Productions, Fox Star Studios, and White Feather Films.
The team also includes seasoned professionals like Rahul Surve, Co-founder and Business Head; Tarun Abhichandani, Chief Product Officer (CPO); Mihir Chitre, Chief Creative Officer (CCO); Rohan Desai, Strategy Lead; and Sagar Grover, Marketing Lead.
As CPO, Tarun leads product strategy, user experience, and technological innovation. Mihir, as CCO, combines artistic vision with strategic insight to create compelling storytelling. Rahul guides business growth and partnerships with his strategic acumen and market understanding.
