In its second season, Swiggy unveils a UI-based film centered on two 60-something empty nesters discovering love and reconnecting, aided by Swiggy. Amidst a world dominated by right swipes and ghosting, this film celebrates a timeless love enduring over 40 years, diverging from the contemporary Valentine's Day narratives targeting the youth and singles.

Aparna Giridhar, Swiggy's VP-Marketing, notes the shift in catering to a rising demographic using Swiggy for their parents, emphasizing convenience as a universal need, particularly for this cohort. The film, blending convenience and joy, narrates a universal story of love's simplicity.

Malvika Thirani, the creative behind "Table For 2," reflects on personal experiences with geriatric love, finding catharsis in portraying love through ordinary actions, like ordering a vegetable chopper. Neil Mathew, the producer at Talented, incorporates the positive impact of adopting a pet into the film's ending, ensuring authenticity through cultural representation.

Directors Rohan and Sanjana, inspired by the success of "Wrong Address" from the previous year, prioritize evoking emotions in their storytelling. The approval from their parents before the brand emphasizes the meticulous crafting of the narrative, with animator Vaishnav Menon contributing valuable insights to enrich the project. "Table For 2" exemplifies the convergence of technology, convenience, and heartfelt storytelling, resonating across generations.
