In a campaign that's truly out of this world, Star Sports and Disney+ Hotstar have launched 'SKYball' to promote the upcoming India-England T20I series. Featuring India's T20I captain, Suryakumar Yadav—affectionately known as SKY—the campaign is a celestial celebration of cricket's most explosive format.
The promotional film is set in a space agency's mission control room, where cricket balls are seen hurtling toward the moon. This cosmic imagery serves as a metaphor for the high-octane batting prowess of both teams. A concerned scientist pleads with Yadav to spare the moon from his powerful shots. Unfazed, Yadav quips, "Sorry guys. Moon, see you soon!" This sets the stage for a series that's expected to be a six-hitting spectacle.
"Every time we take the field, we're always looking to push the boundaries that help aim consistently for the moonshot," said Suryakumar Yadav. "This rivalry has been among the most iconic and competitive ones for decades now, and even more so for the fans who are looking forward to witnessing some exciting cricket in our backyard."

The five-match T20I series kicks off on January 22 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, followed by an ODI series starting February 6 at VCA Stadium, Nagpur. Cricket enthusiasts can catch all the action live on Star Sports Network and Disney+ Hotstar.
