Shraddha Kapoor and Varun Dhawan Team Up for Ajio

Less than ten days after Shraddha Kapoor interviewed Varun Dhawan for becoming Ajio’s brand ambassador, the two stars have already collaborated for promotional campaigns for the Reliance-owned fashion e-commerce platform.

In one ad, the pair is seen dancing on a film set, playfully persuading director David Dhawan (Varun’s father) to shoot the movie in Paris for a shopping spree. In another instance, Shraddha and Varun appear at a funeral scene in high fashion, much to the director's dismay.

These humorous ads highlight Ajio’s Big Bold Sale, which offers 50% to 90% discounts on over 20 lakh styles and 6,000+ premium brands. Shraddha has been Ajio’s brand ambassador since 2022, while Varun recently joined.

Shraddha and Varun previously shared screen space in Stree 2, where Varun made a cameo as his character from Bhediya, expanding the Maddock Productions’ horror-comedy multiverse.

Competitive Landscape

Ajio’s sale faces stiff competition from rival campaigns like Myntra’s End of Reason Sale, endorsed by Kira AdvaniShah Rukh Khan, and Karan Johar. Similarly, Flipkart’s End of Reason Sale, aimed at Gen Z shoppers, has also launched, creating a highly competitive e-commerce environment.
