Rungta Steel has unveiled its fifth TVC series featuring Bollywood icons and brand ambassadors Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt, and Ranbir Kapoor. The ad cleverly combines humor and messaging to emphasize the brand’s promise of “Ekdum Solid” strength and durability.
A Marriage Counseling Twist
Set in a marriage counseling session, Shah Rukh Khan reprises his wise and composed “Jahangir Khan” from Dear Zindagi as the therapist. Alia Bhatt takes on the fiery “Safeena” from Gully Boy, while Ranbir Kapoor embodies the adventurous “Bunny” from Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.
In the TVC, Ranbir expresses discomfort about their home, saying, “Us din sunset dekhne chhajja par chadha aur tute gaya, I don’t feel safe.” Alia humorously retorts, “Kisne kaha ghar ke deewar par rock climbing karne ko.”
Shah Rukh Khan then delivers the punchline:
“Isko ghar pe lagaoge to shaadi ka to pata nahi, par ghar kabhi nahi tutega. Rungta nahin to ghar strong nahin,”reinforcing Rungta Steel’s promise of durability and trust.
