Return of Campa Cola by RCPL

Return of Campa Cola by RCPL

The classic beverage brand, Campa, has been updated for a modern India by Reliance Consumer Products Ltd (RCPL), the FMCG division and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Reliance Retail Ventures Limited (RRVL).

The first three sparkling beverages in the Campa repertoire are Campa Cola, Campa Lemon, and Campa Orange. The introduction of this brand is consistent with the company's aim to support indigenous Indian brands that not only have a rich history but also enjoy a strong bond with Indian consumers because of their distinctive flavors and tastes.

A RCPL spokeswoman commented on the introduction, saying, "By introducing Campa in its new avatar, we aim to encourage consumers across generations to embrace this genuinely iconic brand and spark a new excitement in the beverage market. Younger customers will adore the crisp, refreshing taste, while elder family members will treasure the nostalgia connected with the original Campa. We are genuinely pleased to bring back Campa since the fast developing Indian market is creating additional occasions for consumption. This is yet another risky move for our growing FMCG industry.

This summer, Indian consumers will be able to experience "The Great Indian Taste" thanks to Campa's cutting-edge contemporary character, which has a 50-year history of rich heritage. A 200ml instant consumption pack, 500ml and 600ml on-the-go sharing packs, 1,000ml and 2,000ml home packs, and a 200ml immediate consumption pack are the five thirst-quenching pack sizes that will be available under the Campa range for various consumption circumstances. The roll-out of RCPL's cold beverage portfolio across India, beginning in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, is in line with the company's overarching goal of providing Indian consumers with value and choice by producing high-quality goods at competitive prices.

With this launch, RCPL expands the diversity of its FMCG portfolio, which already includes heritage brands from Sosyo Hajoori, a variety of confections from Lotus Chocolates, the leading biscuit brand in Sri Lanka, Maliban, as well as everyday necessities sold under its own brands, including Independence and Good Life, among others.
