Appointment of Harsha Razdan as CEO of dentsu, South Asia
Harsha Razdan has been appointed CEO of Dentsu South Asia, starting May 1, 2023, according to a statement released by Dentsu Asia Pacific today.
"India has undergone the most significant and impressive digital transformation, and the future of the digital economy is bright; new opportunities are being generated by the deployment of 5G, proliferation of reasonably priced devices, and the creation of a new economy open to all," said Rob Gilby, CEO APAC, densu. "Harsha is a superb leader with a thorough grasp of the competitive environment. His background in brand development, combined with his in-depth understanding of tech-driven change, delivers a formidable cross-capability expertise and will help companies expand by developing a new value ecosystem with customers at its center.
With the goal of connecting teams around Densu's ambition to be at the forefront of people-centered transformations that shape society, Harsha will be in charge of managing close to 4,000 brilliant individuals throughout South Asia. He will collaborate with executives to realize this long-term goal while enhancing Densu's solid reputation for creativity and innovation and providing superior service to clients.

With over 25 years of experience, Harsha is a well-known and esteemed leader who has worked for major, international FMCG companies like PepsiCo and Unilever as well as consulting firms like Accenture, where he spent four years in the UK. He has continuously produced development and quality for his clients in all of his responsibilities. In his previous position as a Senior Partner at KPMG, he was in charge of Clients & Markets as well as Consumer Markets, Life Sciences, and Internet Business. He is a member of the Global Consumer & Retail leadership team as well as the Advisory Leadership team.
He will be located in Mumbai and will answer to Densu's CEO for APAC, Rob Gilby.
