Rajkummar Rao emphasizes the risks of not having Lay's at home in a new campaign

"A pack of Lay's makes these moments even better. At-home activities and situations are best enjoyed with friends and family. Nevertheless, running out of Lay's can ruin the fun and even cause a last-minute rush to restock. Lay's has delightfully highlighted the results of hurried replenishing trips in the commercial, the company stated.

The newest TV commercial for the "Ghar Par Lay's Always" campaign warns consumers about the risks of not keeping Lay's on hand.

The TVC movie, which was directed by Vinil Mathew, begins with Rajkummar hosting a costume party at home while dressing as a burglar. Rajkummar cautiously makes his way to the grocery store after learning from his fiancée (Dolly Singh) that they are out of Lay's, which sets off a series of comical incidents. From being misidentified as a real burglar by the public to getting detained by the police, his humorous roller-coaster of misfortunes finishes upon his release from jail, when he tells a jail warden interested about his imprisonment that "Mai toh sirf Lay's lene gaya tha". The TV commercial concludes amusingly as Rajkummar proudly displays his fully filled pantry with Lay's and tells Dolly about his tribulations with the brand, saying,“Isliye…Ghar pe Lay’s Always!”.

Rajkummar Rao said of his involvement in the TV commercial, "For years, Lay's, with its iconic and enticing flavors, has been my favorite snack. I was immediately captivated to the humorous and lighthearted storyline when the brand contacted me for their "At Home" film since I have always understood the rush to keep my house filled with Lay's. I had a great time filming the TV commercial, and I'm going to have "Ghar Par Lay's Always" without a doubt. I sincerely hope everyone who watches it makes sure Lay's is present during all of their happy family occasions.

Shailja Joshi, Director-Marketing, Potato Chips Category, PepsiCo India, gushed about the TVC and expressed her excitement for it, saying, "At Lay's, we are committed to infuse joy into our consumers' lives and uplift their consumption experiences with our distinct offerings and relatable storytelling. Our most recent TVC, "Ghar Par Lay's Always," captures the crucial function that Lay's performs throughout at-home occasions. We are overjoyed to be working with Rajkummar Rao on this campaign, and he does a terrific job of bringing the message to life in the movie. We anticipate that it will encourage Lay's lovers to always have a supply of their favorite Lay's at home so that they can have fun without interruption.
