In a strategic move aimed at modernization and capturing the attention of the younger demographic, Polycab India, a leading wire and cable manufacturer, has unveiled its new brand identity. This transformation is closely aligned with the company's ambitious business objectives, as it sets its sights on becoming the largest electrical player in India.

Nikhil Jaisinghani, Executive Director of Polycab India, shares the company's vision, stating, "Our vision is to become the largest electrical player in India and we want to own the electric segment in the best way we can."

Under the leadership of Inder T Jaisinghani, Chairman and Managing Director, Polycab India, the company has set a target of achieving an approximate business turnover of ₹20,000 crore by the year 2026. This remarkable ambition follows a two-year transformation journey that has seen Polycab India elevate its topline from ₹9,000 crore to ₹14,000 crore. The impressive growth can be attributed to a focused effort on new product development and enhancing customer engagement.

Gandharv Tongia, Executive Director and CFO of Polycab India, elaborates on their transformation strategy, saying, "We want to evolve from a manufacturing-centric product-only organization to a solution-driven organization for the consumers. We want to support our consumers by strengthening our offerings and simplifying their lives."

New Brand Identity

Polycab India is determined to offer a comprehensive suite of electrical solutions centered on sustainability and safety for modern living. They have also introduced a forward-looking brand line, transitioning from their previous positioning of 'Connection Zindagi Ka' to 'Ideas. Connected.'

The new brand identity, designed and visualized by Interbrand, places a strong emphasis on simplification. Nilesh Malani, Executive President and CMO of Polycab India explains, "The new philosophy aims at simplifying what we want to communicate and our solutions. The entire narrative will be built around simplifying the very technical products."

The New Logo

Malani also unveiled Polycab India's new logo, which draws inspiration from the concept of 'dawn,' symbolizing the values of dreams, hope, and vision. Within the logo, the letter 'O' takes center stage, signifying various aspects:

- Red represents the cables and wire businesses.

- Blue signifies their connection with consumers.

- Purple signifies the futuristic solutions that Polycab intends to develop further.

Polycab India is set to amplify its transformation campaign through a 360-degree marketing approach. Additionally, the company has become the official partner for the ICC Men's World Cup and will have extensive digital, TV, and on-ground presence during the tournament.

To complement its new brand identity, Polycab India has rolled out a new TV commercial that showcases their advanced products seamlessly blending with the everyday lives of consumers, making life easier.

With this renewed focus and brand identity, Polycab India is poised to make significant strides in the electrical industry, aiming for a ₹26,000 crore business by the year 2026.
