Mehak Jaini joins McDonald's India (West & South) as Head of Marketing after an immersive frontline onboarding experience.
Mehak Jaini has been appointed as Head of Marketing, McDonald’s India (West & South), operated by Westlife Foodworld Limited.
She announced the move on LinkedIn, saying her onboarding began in McDonald’s restaurants, where she worked alongside frontline teams, cooking burgers, serving customers, packing orders, cleaning lobbies and even making deliveries.
“It was a chance to learn about the people and the operational processes that keep the brand running every day,” she said.

Leadership Move:
On her induction, Jaini said, “Marketing should not just build brands but also recognise the hard work of employees working behind the scenes.
She also highlighted the need to value frontline workers across the delivery ecosystem, asking customers to be more empathetic and respectful towards delivery people.
Jaini says that working in the McDonald’s uniform changed her view of customer service because front-line workers go unnoticed when things are running smoothly and only noticed when customers need help.

“I am excited to be a part of the next stage of growth for one of the world’s most iconic brands, while respecting the legacy it has built over the years,” Jaini added.
She also thanked the McDonald’s team for having her in the onboarding process.
Jaini’s appointment comes at a time when McDonald’s India (West & South) is building a strong leadership team with rising competition in India’s quick-service restaurant (QSR) market Brands are focusing more on customer experience, operational excellence and growth led by brand.
