Pinterest Unlocks Premium Ad Inventory for Programmatic Buyers Across Global Markets
Pinterest expands its Programmatic Deals offering across North America, South America, and Asia Pacific, allowing enterprise advertisers to buy display and video inventory through platforms like Google, Amazon, and Magnite.
Pinterest Opens Programmatic Access to Capture High-Intent Audiences
Pinterest has officially made its Programmatic Deals offering generally available in select global markets, including North America, South America, and Asia Pacific (APAC). The rollout enables enterprise advertisers to buy Pinterest’s display and video ad inventory directly through their existing media-buying workflows and supply-side (SSP) and demand-side (DSP) platforms.
The move aims to expand access to Pinterest’s ad inventory, helping brands engage consumers while they actively search for products, ideas, and inspiration.
Strategic Supply and Demand Partnerships
To facilitate seamless programmatic transactions, Pinterest has established strategic partnerships across the ad tech ecosystem:
- Supply-Side Partners (SSPs): Magnite serves as Pinterest’s primary SSP partner globally, with Google Ad Manager providing supply-side support across Latin America and Asia Pacific.
- Demand-Side Partners (DSPs): Advertisers can access inventory through Amazon Ads DVA+, Google Display & Video 360 (DV360), Yahoo DSP, and DeepIntent.
Proven Campaign Performance: The Moroccanoil Case Study
Pinterest highlighted the real-world performance of its programmatic offering with a June 2026 campaign by beauty brand Moroccanoil, executed via Magnite and Amazon Ads.
Key metrics from the campaign included:
- 15% incremental reach with only 1% audience overlap.
- 63% more new-to-brand buyers among users whose purchase journeys included Pinterest.
- 20% higher click-through rate (CTR) compared to the brand's benchmark video and display campaign averages.
Capitalizing on Commercial Intent at Scale
According to the company, Pinterest reaches 640 million monthly active users and records more than 80 billion monthly searches. More than half of these searches carry commercial intent, while over 96% of text searches are unbranded—offering brands an opportunity to reach consumers before their purchase decisions are finalized.
"Pinterest captures the moment when people are figuring out what they want to try, buy or do next. Programmatic Deals put that intent to work for enterprise advertisers across the media systems they already use, helping brands turn inspiration into conversion, now at scale," said Jason Fairchild, General Manager, Programmatic & Affiliate at Pinterest and CEO of tvScientific by Pinterest.
Programmatic Deals are currently available to advertisers in North America, South America, and Asia Pacific.
