This year’s Wrapped marks the tenth anniversary of the feature, which highlights users' favorite songs, artists, and moments from the year. To build excitement for the December launch, Spotify India kicked off the 2024 Wrapped campaign with a series of teasers on November 30. These teasers, designed by Kulfi Collective, use humor and relatable scenarios to set the stage for the big reveal. Wrapped allows over 640 million Spotify users around the world to see how they engaged with music, podcasts, and playlists during the year.

Spotify's teaser campaign featured two playful ad films that teased the upcoming announcement. The first teaser, called 'Campfire Crashers,' took place at a cozy campsite where a couple debated over their top artists, Jonita Gandhi and Anuv Jain. The scene took a funny turn when the artists themselves magically appeared, demanding to know who was at the top of the couple’s list. The couple, keeping the fun alive, teased the big reveal by saying that the answer would only come with Spotify Wrapped. In the second teaser, 'Zen Earworms,' Bollywood actor Dalip Tahil portrayed a yoga instructor leading a calming class. However, the session was hilariously interrupted by artists Sanju Rathod and Mohammad Faiz, who insisted that a student reveal his top artist of the year. The student, unwilling to spoil the surprise, cheekily responded that the big reveal would come later with Spotify Wrapped. These playful ads set a fun tone for the campaign and got fans eagerly awaiting the December launch.

When December 5 arrived, so did the official reveal of Spotify Wrapped 2024, complete with four vibrant ad films starring Bollywood actors, popular social media influencers, and well-known music artists. One of the standout ad films featured Bollywood stars Jackie Shroff and Ananya Panday in a light-hearted and comedic ad titled 'Team Bhidu or Team Bandruh?' The chemistry between Jackie and Ananya was a highlight, with Ananya mimicking Jackie’s iconic “Bhidu” persona. She humorously recited Jackie’s famous line, "Bhidu banna bohot easy hai" while Jackie playfully referenced one of Ananya's viral interview moments, saying, "I can touch my tongue to my nose." The ad film ended with Jackie revealing his most-streamed song of the year, which Ananya assumed would be a sad ballad, only to be surprised by Big Dawgs by HanumanKind. This playful twist added a fun, unexpected element to the campaign.
