Rohit Sharma Joins Forces with True Elements to Launch RS by True Elements
Cricketer Rohit Sharma Teams with True Elements to Launch RS by True Elements, Pioneering Health Food Brand in India’s Food Industry
In a groundbreaking collaboration, cricket star Rohit Sharma has partnered with True Elements to introduce a new licensed brand, RS by True Elements, marking a significant milestone in India’s food industry. This unique partnership aims to co-build a product line that reflects both Sharma's and True Elements' commitment to transparency and healthy living.
Rohit Sharma, who is exclusively managed by RISE Worldwide, will serve as the ambassador for True Elements while leading the charge for RS by True Elements. True Elements, a homegrown brand known for its nutritious breakfast options and snacks, will collaborate with Sharma to develop and market products under the RS brand. The partnership, managed by RISE Worldwide, is set to redefine how Indian consumers perceive and choose their food.
True Elements’ philosophy revolves around the idea of "Food That Does NOT Lie," encouraging consumers to flip the package and understand exactly what they are consuming. This commitment to honesty and transparency aligns perfectly with Sharma’s values, making the partnership a natural fit.
Rohit Sharma expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, "This is a perfect time to launch RS by True Elements. In today’s world, consumers want to know what they are eating. I have always admired True Elements for their commitment to transparency and quality. Together, we aim to offer an alternative product line that empowers consumers to make informed choices."
Founded in 2016 by Puru Gupta and Sreejith Moolayil, True Elements has rapidly expanded over the past decade. The brand is now available across major e-commerce platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, and Swiggy Instamart, as well as in over 25,000 offline stores nationwide. This widespread availability underscores the brand's success and reach, serving nearly 25,000 pin codes across India.
Puru Gupta, Co-Founder and CEO of True Elements, highlighted the significance of this partnership: "This is the first time a cricketer is licensing a health food brand in India. Rohit’s authenticity in cricket will help us reinforce our commitment to being ‘True’ and honest with our customers. His confidence in us as a brand is a huge motivation for our entire team, and we believe this collaboration will set a new benchmark in the industry."
The RS by True Elements product line is expected to hit the market by the end of August 2024. With Rohit Sharma's involvement, the brand aims to simplify the packaged food experience for Indian consumers and inspire a shift in how people, especially the younger generation, think about food and health.
In the coming months, the partnership will be promoted through a brand campaign featuring a film starring Rohit Sharma, followed by product-centric videos. This collaboration is not just a first for the food industry in India but also a refreshing move towards honest and transparent branding.
