Fibe names Indian actor Vikrant Massey as brand ambassador
Fibe launches its first ad campaign featuring actor Vikrant Massey, conceptualized by Very Busy People Film Production House, highlighting the brand's innovative approach and creative vision
Fibe, a leading fintech company, has brought on board Bollywood actor Vikrant Massey as its brand ambassador. Massey, widely recognized for his stellar performance in the blockbuster movie "12th Fail," will feature prominently in Fibe’s marketing campaigns. These campaigns aim to emphasize the company’s swift and hassle-free application process, as well as the ease with which customers can avail themselves of its services.
Massey's strong connection with the audience is expected to enhance Fibe’s appeal among Gen Z and millennials. The collaboration underscores Fibe’s commitment to providing a solution that meets individual needs without the burden of lengthy processes or intrusive questions about loan usage. The association kicks off with a campaign that encourages customers to abandon the habit of saying ‘Agli Baar,’ addressing the common tendency among the middle-class to postpone their aspirations or purchasing decisions.
The campaign, conceptualized by VeryBusyPeople Film Production House, features Massey as both protagonist and narrator (Sutradhar). He guides customers through the journey of realizing their aspirations using the Fibe app, whether it’s purchasing a dream bike or enrolling in an online course. Massey also highlights the app's benefits, empowering individuals to make decisions that positively impact their lives.
Sudesh Shetty, a founding member and EVP – Marketing at Fibe, expressed his excitement, saying, “We are thrilled to welcome Vikrant Massey to the Fibe family. Vikrant's relatable and authentic persona makes him the perfect fit to represent the brand Fibe. Fibe has remained committed to upgrading the lifestyle of the salaried class while encouraging responsible buying behavior. Vikrant’s connection with the younger generation will significantly boost our efforts in engaging with the audience and empower them with the Fibe app through which they can avail our offerings easily.”
Vikrant Massey shared his enthusiasm, stating, “I am delighted to collaborate with Fibe in its mission of helping people fulfill their dreams with confidence and ease. The brand not only assists underserved individuals in accessing financial services but also empowers them with financial independence.”
Sudhir Shetty, founder and director at VeryBusyPeople Film Production House, added, “The inspiration for this campaign came from the everyday stories of youth who have numerous dreams and aspirations but often defer even small purchases due to financial constraints, pushing them to ‘Agli Baar.’ Through the ‘NoMoreAgliBaar’ campaign, we aim to inspire them to seize opportunities with the support of Fibe’s financial solutions. Leveraging Massey’s relatable appeal to the youth, we aim to create a powerful connection with Gen Z and millennials while enabling them with easily accessible financial solutions.”
The integrated launch of the campaign will be promoted across various platforms, including digital and social media, ensuring a wide reach and engagement.
