Zepto's Ad Revenue Surges to ₹1,000 Crore in 3 Years

Quick-commerce leader Zepto has achieved a remarkable milestone, crossing ₹1,000 crore in annualized advertising revenue just three years after launching its ad business, according to co-founder and CEO Aadit Palicha. Sharing the news on LinkedIn, Palicha praised the team’s efforts:

“We just crossed 1,000 Crores in Annualized Advertising Revenue (₹83+ Cr per month)! It’s been less than 3 years since we launched our Ads Business, and the team we put together has been executing like a machine. I’m honestly grateful to be working and learning from some of the smartest operators in Internet India today.”

Introducing Jarvis: Zepto's In-House Ad Platform

Recently, Zepto launched Jarvis, its cutting-edge ad platform designed to empower brands and sellers. Jarvis enables both small and large brands to increase brand visibility and drive platform sales through optimized campaigns targeting Zepto’s user base.

According to Zepto's press release, Jarvis has already delivered over 15 billion ad impressions, contributing more than 4% of advertising income as a percentage of sales. This surpasses the industry benchmark for quick-commerce ad revenue, which stands at 3%-3.5%, as noted by a 2024 Bofa Global Research report.

Quick-Commerce Industry Growth

The rapid growth of Zepto mirrors the expansion of India’s quick-commerce industry, which financial services firm Chryseum estimates will grow from $3.34 billion in 2024 to $9.95 billion by 2029, at a CAGR of over 4.5%.
