Unverified Twitter users can only access 600 tweets every day, according to Elon Musk

Twitter has set a daily limit on the number of tweets that users can read. According to Elon Musk's recent post, verified users can see 6,000 tweets, while unverified accounts can only view 600 and new unverified accounts can only access 300.

The change is intended to address "extreme levels of data scraping and system manipulation," according to a post from Twitter's owner.

Following the uproar on Twitter, he wrote again, "Now to 10k, 1k, & 0.5k," implying that verified, unverified, and new unverified users can view 10000, 1000, and 500 tweets each day, respectively.

Musk reiterated that the action is a temporary emergency measure. "We were getting so much data pillaged that it was degrading service for normal users!"

Data scraping is a technique in which businesses utilize a computer software to extract information from a website for various purposes. It can also be used maliciously to collect email addresses or social network profiles, which are then bundled and sold to spammers.
