Uber has appointed Arpit Tyagi as Head of Advertising in India to lead its growing advertising business and strengthen brand partnerships.

Uber has appointed Arpit Tyagi as Head of Advertising for India as the ride-hailing platform looks to expand its advertising business and strengthen partnerships with brands, agencies, merchants and marketers across the country.

Uber Advertising will enter its next growth phase in India with the launch of a dedicated India-based advertising team. Tyagi will head the team with support from regional and global leadership at Uber Advertising.

In his new role, Tyagi will helm Uber Advertising’s commercial strategy and operations in India, driving growth across the company’s advertising solutions. He will focus on enabling brands to connect with consumers during high-intent, real-world moments across the Uber platform.

Experienced Leader:

Tyagi brings over 15 years of experience across advertising, media, marketing technology and digital transformation. Prior to Uber, he spent several years at Amazon, enabling brands and agencies to capitalise on retail media, data-driven marketing solutions and customer-centric innovation through Amazon Ads.

Most recently, he was Director- Enterprise Sales at The Trade Desk, leading strategic partnerships with some of India’s largest advertisers and media agencies.
