Wipro Consumer Care Elevates Bharat Kumar Ludhiyani to Lead Philippines HR Operations

Wipro Consumer Care and Lighting has officially named Bharat Kumar Ludhiyani as its new Group HR Head – Philippines (Splash & S Brands), effective August 2026. The appointment marks a significant milestone in Ludhiyani’s nearly decade-long trajectory within the organization, positioning him at the helm of people strategy and organizational transformation in one of the company's key Southeast Asian markets.

Steering Post-Acquisition Integration & Digital HR Transformation

In his new capacity, Ludhiyani is tasked with leading the end-to-end human resources function across Wipro’s Philippine portfolio, which includes Splash Corporation and S Brands. A core priority of his mandate is finalizing post-acquisition integration across both entities to foster seamless organizational alignment.

Alongside integration, Ludhiyani is spearheading the market-wide deployment of SAP SuccessFactors. This initiative forms a central pillar of Wipro Consumer Care’s broader digital HR agenda across international markets, combining technology modernization with process harmonization and strategic change management.

A Decade of Global Growth Within Wipro

Ludhiyani’s advancement reflects a deep familiarity with Wipro’s international footprint and M&A ecosystem. Over his nearly decade-long tenure with Wipro Consumer Care and Lighting, he has consistently stepped into expanded regional roles.

Prior to his current appointment, he served as Senior Regional HR Manager in Kuala Lumpur from May 2023 to July 2026, building on his previous role as Regional HR Manager in the same location from June 2022 to April 2023. His previous stint in the Philippines from August 2019 to June 2022 as M&A Project Manager for HR laid much of the groundwork for his return to the region. Earlier in his Wipro career, he managed South India regional HR operations out of Chennai from March 2017 to August 2019, having first joined the company as a management intern in 2016 working on employer branding and psychometric assessment initiatives.

Grounded in Banking & Organizational Strategy

Before embarking on his HR career at Wipro, Ludhiyani built a strong operational foundation in the banking sector. From December 2012 to June 2015, he worked at Syndicate Bank (now merged with Canara Bank), where his responsibilities spanned core branch operations, retail financial services, credit and loan processing, deposit growth initiatives, and non-performing asset (NPA) recovery.

By unifying his foundational experience in banking operations with years of international M&A, digital implementation, and change leadership, Ludhiyani is set to direct the strategic growth and talent agenda for Wipro Consumer Care's Philippines businesses.
