Nykaa Names Ex-Swiggy Instamart COO Ankit Jain to Lead NYKAA NOW

Nykaa, the omnichannel beauty and fashion retailer, has appointed Ankit Jain as the chief executive officer of NYKAA NOW, its quick-commerce business that delivers beauty and personal care products within 30 to 60 minutes. Jain was earlier the chief operating officer at Swiggy Instamart.

The appointment comes as Nykaa sharpens focus on rapid commerce, a segment that has become increasingly competitive with growing consumer appetite for faster deliveries.

Jain comes to Nykaa after being the COO of Swiggy Instamart for over a year. Prior to that, he spent over 5 years at Flipkart in various leadership roles including Senior Vice President & Head of Grocery and Large Supply Chain and Ekart Design. He spent almost 14 years at Unilever in the early part of his career, where he held leadership positions in supply chain and operations.

Quick-Commerce Expansion:

Jain is an alumnus of IIT Delhi and holds a post graduate degree in executive management from Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.

Nykaa’s quick-commerce platform, NYKAA NOW, is delivering from over 1,000 beauty and personal care brands across Luxury, FMCG and Direct-to-consumer categories in 30 to 60 minutes. The service is available in 13 cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and Calcutta.

Nykaa is planning to expand the platform big way in years to come. The company plans to scale NYKAA NOW to all high-demand markets in India by FY30, delivering 30-minute beauty deliveries to customers across the country. “Ankit will play a key role in strengthening the company’s supply chain and fulfilment network to be future-ready as Nykaa accelerates this next phase of growth,” the company said in a statement.

In his new role Jain will lead the expansion of NYKAA NOW across key markets leveraging Artificial Intelligence driven demand forecasting and logistics innovation to build a resilient technology enabled fulfilment network.
