RENÉE Cosmetics Teams Up With Orry for Micro-Drama Campaign
RENÉE Cosmetics has partnered with Orry for a micro-drama campaign that blends beauty, entertainment and internet culture to engage Gen Z audiences.
Beauty brand RENÉE Cosmetics has teamed up with internet personality Orry (Orhan Awatramani) on a new micro-drama series in its bid to connect with Gen Z audiences through short-form, culture-led content.
It combines beauty and entertainment by tapping into the growing micro-drama and social-first storytelling trend to win over digital-native consumers.
“The initiative is about staying in touch with younger audiences, catching up with internet trends, humour, and viral content formats that are increasingly defining conversations online,” said RENÉE.

Trend-Led Storytelling:
The new micro-drama series is based on viral internet moments. The teaser employs the rapid-fire editing style featured in popular Haaland fan edits and recreates the widely circulated New York tower proposal that inspired memes and brand recreations across social media.
The series, set to the trending track Taka La Dentro, blends beauty, humour and entertainment in a narrative built for today’s short-form content ecosystem.
Micro-dramas are an emerging format for brands that want to do more than advertise by creating snackable, story-driven content that promotes engagement and improves brand recall.

Speaking Gen Z's Language:
Commenting on the collaboration, Ashutosh Valani, Co-founder, RENÉE Cosmetics said, “Today, consumers interact with culture as much as they consume content. “They like trends, humour, music, and stories that feel real and that they can share,” he said.
Micro-dramas let brands blend entertainment with storytelling, added Valani. And with Orry’s deep roots in internet culture, he was a natural fit for the campaign.
“We are launching a new and culturally relevant way to connect with consumers, not just a series with this campaign,” he added.
