Eco Hotels Expands with New Aurangabad Property, Focus on Sustainability

Eco Hotels and Resorts Limited, a key player in India’s retail and hospitality sectors, is strengthening its presence with the announcement of a new 48-room property in Aurangabad, named The Eco (Satva), Aurangabad. This new addition reflects the company’s continued commitment to eco-conscious hospitality and marks another milestone in its national expansion. The deal, managed by CFO Vikram Doshi and GM Corporate Vaibhav Kulkarni, is expected to be finalized next week.

This new property in Aurangabad joins the brand’s rapidly expanding portfolio, which also includes recently signed agreements for hotels in TirupatiMysore, and Nagpur. The company’s 67-room property in Kota, The Eco (Satva), Kota, is set to open by December 15. Located opposite Oxy Park, this hotel will feature a popular rooftop restaurantcalled GGs, already gaining local attention. Additionally, EcoXpress (Satva), a 44-room property in Nagpur, is set to open in December with a unique dancefloor called Kick in the Brick and another GGs rooftop dining option.

Looking further ahead, Eco Hotels is preparing for the March 2025 launch of The Eco (Satva), Baroda, and its Mysoreproperty, spanning 2.5 acres with 90 rooms, will include a high-end wellness center. The restaurant chain SAHAR, offering vegetarian food based on Jain food philosophy, is also part of Eco Hotels’ strategy to offer sustainable and diverse dining options to guests.

In line with its rapid expansion, Eco Hotels is adopting advanced construction methods to accelerate growth. By utilizing 3D volumetric construction technology under its EBOT model, the company aims to build 100-room hotels in just 24 weeks. The first hotel using this technology is planned for Ayodhya, with discussions already underway. Eco Hotels has also signed an MoU with the Uttar Pradesh government to develop 10 hotels across the state, all targeting net carbon zero standards to reinforce the company’s commitment to sustainability.
