Customer wooing female employees: McDonald's India's latest advertisement sparks outrage

McDonald's India is attracting controversy for its current commercial depicting a love story between a female employee and a client. According to the trolls, the film will send the incorrect message to moviegoers because the fast food chain objectifies their female employees and encourages men to hit on them.

The TV commercial campaign begins with a customer asking the female employee for a lunch and the two smiling at each other. Following that, the two exchange glances, and the man returns to the queue to re-order. The film concludes with the slogan Date... sort @ 179.

However, the thought of a customer wooing a female employee has not gone over well with netizens. "Wth, I mean it's cute," one YouTube commenter said. However, there are many despo people who will see it as a fresh approach to meet girls. It would be unfortunate if the women who work there had to cope with stalkers. They grin at everyone, not just you, because it's their job. However, this advertisement could be interpreted incorrectly. "How will working women do their jobs now if they are disturbed?"
