Vicks introduces a significant update with the launch of its first-ever 'double-power' transformation of its iconic triangular cough drops, revealed by brand ambassador Ranveer Singh.

Sahil Sethi, Category Leader for Consumer Healthcare at P&G India, stated, "The iconic Vicks jingle, 'Vicks ki Goli Lo, Khich Khich Door Karo,' evokes nostalgia, having helped generations of Indians speak clearly since the 1960s. Committed to this legacy, we continuously listen to our consumers and incorporate their feedback into our product formulations and packaging. Alongside the charismatic superstar Ranveer Singh, we are thrilled to announce our biggest news in decades – the launch of Vicks Double Power Cough Drops. Based on consumer feedback, our new 'Vicks Double Power Cough Drops' is a larger cough drop designed to relieve throat irritation and cough more effectively."

Dr. Jaspreet Kochhar, Director of Vicks Research & Development, elaborated, "The new Vicks Double Power Cough Drop offers superior relief from sore throat and cough, formulated with effective Ayurvedic ingredients like menthol, eucalyptus oil, and camphor. The new formulation, with double the menthol, comes in three variants: cooling menthol, soothing honey, and warming ginger. Developed and tested with Indian consumers, these drops provide better, faster, and longer relief with superior cooling and great taste. This is what we call Badi Rahat."

Ranveer Singh brings this 'Sabse Badi Khabar' to life through a quirky new television commercial. Speaking about his association with Vicks, Singh shared, "Vicks ki goli is a part of our culture. It's always been the go-to remedy for clearing khich-khich! I’m proud to represent such an iconic brand and excited about the new Double Powered Cough Drops. The TVC is cute and quirky, and I hope the audience receives the message with a smile."
