Maaza Celebrates 50 Years With Postal Tribute
Maaza celebrates 50 years with an India Post Special Cover, honouring India's mango heritage and farming communities.
On National Mango Day, Coca-Cola India celebrated 50 years of Maaza with the launch of a commemorative Special Cover by the Department of Posts, to celebrate the brand’s association with Indian mangoes and the farming communities behind them.
Union Minister for Food Processing Industries Chirag Paswan released the Special Cover 'Celebrating 50 Years of Mango in a Bottle' in the presence of officials of the Department of Posts, Coca-Cola India, its bottling partners, mango supplier Foods & Inns Ltd. and NGO partner CENDECT.
The event also honoured mango farmers associated with Project Unnati by Anandana – The Coca-Cola India Foundation for their contribution towards preserving India’s mango legacy and Maaza’s 50-year journey.

Mango Legacy:
Since its inception in 1976, Maaza has emerged as one of the most popular mango beverage brands in India, offering consumers the Indian mango taste throughout the year.
The commemorative philatelic cover features artwork inspired by mango orchards and the iconic Maaza bottle, celebrating the brand’s legacy and the agricultural ecosystem behind it.
Union Minister of Food Processing Industries, Chirag Paswan said, “The focus of India now is not only to be food self-sufficient but also to create greater value through food processing and strengthening opportunities for the farmers.
The efforts to celebrate India’s mango heritage also acknowledge the contribution of farming communities and help showcase Indian produce to consumers, he said.

Sundeep Bajoria, Vice President – Integrated Operations, Coca-Cola India & Southwest Asia said, “For the last five decades, Maaza has been bringing the true taste of Indian mangoes to consumers and supporting farmers through sourcing, technology support and value chain partnerships.
He also said that the Special Cover recognises the collaborative environment involving farmers, processors, bottlers and distributors which has helped to make the brand a household name.
Paritosh Ladhani, Joint Managing Director, SLMG Beverages, echoed the sentiment, “Every bottle of Maaza is a reflection of the combined efforts of farmers, manufacturing units, logistics partners, distributors and retailers working together to deliver the product across the country.”
