JetSynthesys, a digital entertainment and technology business, has purchased the franchise rights to the 'Ratnagiri Jets' in the fourth edition of the Maharashtra Premier League (MPL) 2023. JetSynthesys won the team's offer for Rs. 8.3 crores, launching it into the world of sports ownership. Azim Kazi, a notable all-rounder, is the franchise's icon and captain.

This is JetSynthesys' official introduction into sports leagues via 'Jets,' which has repeatedly demonstrated its dedication to promoting sports and fostering local talent. JetSynthesys is a world leader in cricket games and esports, with collaborative ventures with global publishers and athletic luminaries like Sachin Tendulkar, as well as excellent in-house brands like Real Cricket.

"We are thrilled to be a part of this year's edition of the Maharashtra Premier League," stated Rajan Navani, Founder and CEO of JetSynthesys, of the winning bid. This initiative is in line with JetSynthesys' fundamental beliefs of promoting local talent, developing aspirations, and creating a vibrant sports ecosystem. While we have over 60% of the market in India for simulated mobile cricket games, MPL was the ideal approach for us to take our initial steps into mainstream cricket. We look forward to a long-term partnership with the Maharashtra Cricket Association and are excited to see a league of pure sportsmanship."

Along with Azim Kazi, the Jets bid for and won the second most expensive player, all-rounder Divyang Hinganekar, and regional sensation Nikhil Naik. Other notable players on the team are Rishikesh Sonawane and Kiran Chormale. JetSynthesys has always been committed to encouraging the spirit of sportsmanship and has been involved in a number of local tournaments including football, swimming, badminton, and many others. MPL 2023 is a significant step toward becoming a mainstream cricket event.
