Zomato guides Mumbai Metro riders to 'Chaatkopar' in innovative collaboration

Zomato, renowned for its inventive marketing approaches, has once again stirred the marketing realm with its latest endeavor—seizing control of Mumbai's local transport system.

The food delivery giant added a touch of humor to commuters' daily routines by taking over the Public Service Announcement (PSA) system of the Mumbai Metro. Instead of the regular announcement for the Ghatkopar station, Zomato playfully declared the next stop as "Chaatkopar." The announcer humorously added, "No no no, Ghatkopar. If you heard Chaatkopar, you must be hungry!" This unexpected twist brought smiles to the faces of many passengers.

Sharing the amusing video on LinkedIn, Anupam Singh, Zomato's Program Manager, expressed, "In the vibrant city of Mumbai, Zomato has become a familiar presence, from restaurants to the grandest festival pandals and the iconic Worli Sea Link. But now we're not just visible, we're audible too."

Zomato's creative marketing isn't new; last year, the company made waves on social media with its 'Kheer Maangoge, Kheer Denge' out-of-home campaign, setting a trend that other brands eagerly followed. Zomato's ability to inject humor and innovation into its marketing strategies continues to capture the attention of audiences and solidify its position as a standout brand in the industry.
