Saregama India Appoints Abhishek Kapoor As Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Mumbai, July 15, 2026: Saregama India Limited, one of India’s oldest music label and entertainment company, today announced the appointment of Abhishek Kapoor as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) effective July 15, 2026. The appointment is part of a planned transition in its finance leadership.

The company has informed the stock exchanges that Kapoor will take charge as the CFO from July 15. Meanwhile, Kuldeep Kothari has been appointed as Interim CFO w.e.f. 24 June 2026 and will hold office till 14 July 2026.

Business Expansion:

Kothari has over 23 years of experience in finance, accounting, treasury, budgeting, financial reporting, internal controls, taxation and regulatory compliance. He has been with Saregama for last 7 years and has held various leadership roles in the finance function of the company.

The interim setup is to keep continuity in the financial operations and leadership during the transition period.

Saregama is one of the oldest and most recognised music labels in India and has been expanding its footprint across music, film and digital entertainment businesses in the recent years. As the company continues to diversify and scale, finance leadership remains an important part of the long-term growth plan.

The company did not disclose the reason for the leadership change, but said Kapoor will formally take charge after the interim period of Kothari ends.

The appointment comes at a time when media and entertainment companies are increasingly focused on financial discipline, digital growth and business expansion, making experienced finance leadership a key part of corporate strategy.
