Nestlé MUNCH has launched its 'Hack the Crunch' campaign, partnering with gaming creators to engage Gen Z through creator-led content and gaming culture.

Nestlé MUNCH Enters Gaming With 'Hack the Crunch' Campaign

Nestlé India’s MUNCH has unveiled a new gaming-centric campaign, ‘Hack the Crunch’, which engages India’s growing gaming creator ecosystem to reach Gen Z audiences through creator-led content and interactive participation.

The campaign is built on a simple gaming insight: snacking during competitive gameplay is difficult when both hands are on the controller. Instead of providing a one-size-fits-all solution, MUNCH has encouraged gaming creators and their communities to devise their own inventive “hacks” to enjoy the snack without missing out on gameplay.

The campaign will feature a series of creator-led videos and live streams across gaming and social media platforms, encouraging viewers to join the conversation around the theme ‘Hack the Crunch’.

Gaming-Led Engagement:

Commenting on the campaign, Gopichander Jagatheesan, Director – Chocolates & Confectionery, Nestlé India, said the brand wanted to engage with young consumers by becoming part of their culture rather than simply advertising to them.

"For us, staying relevant with young India has always meant being in-culture, earning a place in conversations as a participant, not an advertiser. This generation isn't just consuming culture. They're building it one stream, one reel, one hack at a time," he said.

On the insight behind the campaign, Jagatheesan said, “With Munch Hack The Crunch, we entered the gaming world with a truth that every gamer knows – when both hands are on the controller, snacking becomes a real challenge.” But rather than giving them the answer, we asked the community to do what it does best – hack. And deliver they did. Smart fixes, funny jugaads and content that made a campaign into a cultural moment.”

Through the campaign, MUNCH seeks to deepen its ties with India’s gaming community by partnering with creators and interacting with users, highlighting the increasing significance of gaming as a platform for brands to engage with younger audiences. The campaign is now rolling out across streaming platforms and social media channels.
