Mastercard has launched a new marketing campaign 'Sirf card nahi, Mastercard' to showcase how payment cards can provide consumers with more value beyond everyday transactions in the form of rewards, security, convenience and exclusive benefits.

The campaign will have nine short films, showcasing common spending scenarios like paying utility bills, booking travel, shopping on equated monthly instalments (EMIs), contactless payments, merchant offers, online shopping and exclusive experiences.

Each film will highlight a different aspect of Mastercard, showing how its payment network helps consumers benefit from enhanced security, global acceptance, rewards and value-added services.

The eight-week long campaign will run across social media platforms, connected TV, OTT platforms, digital channels and cinema halls across multiple Indian languages.

Consumer Value:

Mastercard is seeking to further integrate the consumer’s need for payment solutions that provide more value while still being convenient by using relatable everyday situations.

Commenting on the campaign, Lavani Agarwal, Vice President, Marketing & Communications, South Asia at Mastercard said “Consumers today are looking for more from every purchase they make.

"Consumers today aren't just deciding how to pay; they're deciding how to get more from every rupee they spend. Whether it's finding value, paying with confidence or unlocking memorable experiences, they want every purchase to work harder for them," she said.

"'Sirf card nahi, Mastercard' reflects our commitment to helping consumers spend smarter and get more from the money they're already spending. Designed to match the pace of a billion dreams, the campaign brings this promise alive in a way that feels proudly local while staying true to Mastercard's global promise of enabling trusted payment experiences," Agarwal added.

The campaign comes as digital payments continue to evolve in India, with consumers increasingly expecting payment cards to offer benefits beyond basic transactions, including financial flexibility, rewards, security and personalised experiences.
