Kanika Bedi Joins Nokia as Regional Communications Manager for India

Nokia has appointed Kanika Bedi as Regional Communications Manager, India, to head media relations and communications activities for the company.

Bedi called the move a big career milestone and shared the news on LinkedIn, mentioning her return to the telecom industry, where she started her career. This comes at a time when AI-powered connectivity is changing the communications landscape, she said.

Prior to joining Nokia, Bedi spent almost two years at PersonaKraft as a Corporate Communication Strategist and Employee Advocacy Trainer. In this role, she developed communication and leadership programmes for managers and cross-functional teams, focusing on storytelling, stakeholder engagement, public speaking, conflict resolution and employee advocacy.

New Role:

She has also worked as a Corporate Communications, LinkedIn Profile Rewrite and Personal Branding Expert advising founders, CXOs and senior professionals on thought leadership, executive positioning, personal branding and communication strategies.

As part of her new role at Nokia, Bedi will lead the company’s media relations efforts in India, reinforcing external communications and engagement with media stakeholders.

Her appointment comes as technology companies focus increasingly on strategic communications around emerging areas such as artificial intelligence, digital transformation and next-generation connectivity.
