Coca-Cola launches ‘Matchday Hangout’ – a creator-led live football watch-along experience to connect Indian fans during the FIFA World Cup season through interactive digital engagement.

The initiative is built on Coca-Cola’s long-standing partnership with FIFA and aims to turn late-night football viewing into a shared social experience, enabling fans to watch, react and celebrate matches alongside creators and fellow supporters in real time.

Turning Match Nights Into Social Events:

The Coca-Cola Matchday Hangout will have 12 national live streams, designed to reflect the way Indian fans today consume football content on social and digital platforms.

The experience is being created and hosted by sports media platform RevSportz and will combine live match conversation with entertainment-led content.

The show will be hosted by creators Rohan Joshi, Sakshi Shivdasani and Kaashvi Hiranandani, with select matchdays also featuring appearances from Zervaan Bunshah, Varun Thakur and footballer Dalima Chhibber.

Blending Sport, Entertainment and Community:

According to Coca-Cola, the platform is designed to capture the rituals and emotions that accompany football fandom, from pre-match predictions and in-game reactions to halftime discussions and post-match debates.

Speaking about the initiative, Karthik Subramanian, Senior Director – Marketing, Coca-Cola TM India & Southwest Asia, said, “Through our longstanding association with FIFA, Coca-Cola has been an integral part of football fandom for decades. A match night is all about rituals, reactions and shared emotions. Coca-Cola Matchday Hangout is our way of fostering that connection through social-led experiences.”

RevSportz Powers the Experience:

RevSportz will host the live broadcast and editorial storytelling of the experience, bringing together sport and creator culture in one format.

The partnership is about building a destination where fans can share the highs and lows of the tournament', said Boria Majumdar, Founder & CEO, RevSportz.
