Celebrate World Music and Motorcycle Day with Aprilia

Piaggio Vehicles, a subsidiary of the Italian Piaggio Group and the maker of Vespa and Aprilia two-wheelers, is gearing up for a dual celebration of World Music Day and World Motorcycle Day, both occurring on June 21, 2024.

In collaboration with Aprilia India's brand ambassador, John Abraham, the company is launching a digital campaign called #1RevForMusic.

For motorcycle enthusiasts, the sound of an engine is the ultimate music. Embracing this spirit, the campaign features John Abraham revving his bike twice – once for music and once for motorcycles.

Aprilia India and John Abraham invite the entire motorcycling community to join in by revving their engines twice: one rev for music and one rev for their motorcycle. #1RevForMusic aims to unite motorcycle enthusiasts, influencers, and riders from across India in a celebration of the harmonious sounds of engines revving – a symphony cherished by every rider.

John Abraham expressed, “It’s a beautiful coincidence that World Music Day and World Motorcycle Day fall on the same day. Both motorcycles and music are integral to my life. There’s no better music to my ears than the sound of my motorcycle’s engine, especially my Italian machines. The roar of an Aprilia engine and its rhythm fuel my passion. As we celebrate, I look forward to the motorcycling community creating music with their machines.”

In the spirit of community and celebration, Aprilia invites all motorcycle enthusiasts to participate by revving their engines – one rev for music and one rev for motorcycles. Riders are encouraged to share their revving stories on social media with the hashtag #1RevForMusic. At the end of the day, Aprilia India’s Instagram stories will feature music generated solely by the revving of Aprilia bikes.
