Skincare brand BIODERMA, part of the NAOS group, is launching its latest campaign, #WontLetAcneWin, during Acne Awareness Month to raise awareness of the emotional and social struggles of people living with acne.

The campaign introduces the concept of ‘Acne Exile’ and shines a light on the subtle ways that acne can affect behaviour and self-confidence. The initiative aims to shed light on how acne can impact life beyond visible skin issues, from avoiding photographs and social media posts to skipping social gatherings and everyday experiences.

The campaign is anchored by a film that captures these experiences, and shows how acne can influence individual decisions and affect confidence in social situations. By sharing stories BIODERMA wants to inspire consumers to treat acne without letting it define who they are or hold them back from enjoying everyday moments.

He said that while acne is often discussed as a skin condition, the emotional toll can be just as high. With the #WontLetAcneWin campaign, the brand is encouraging people to face acne care with confidence and continue to live life to the fullest.

Through the campaign, BIODERMA aims to expand the conversation around acne awareness and emphasise the message that acne does not have to determine confidence, choices or participation in daily life.
